Croatia Energy Project d.o.o. (CEP) – Project management and holding company that identifies, designs, finances, implements, operates and maintains renewable energy projects in the Adria region (Southeastern Europe). The company headquarters is in the capital of Croatia, Zagreb.
“CEP” is 100% privately owned by CEP Finance Ltd, a joint venture of partners:
- Hili Energy Limited – Malta-based company, fully owned subsidiary of Hili Company Limited, the holding company of an international group of firms. Hili Company’s roots date back to 1923, where the strategic focus is on the maritime and logistics industries. In parallel, it is building a solid portfolio in finance, renewable energy, and real estate.
- AS Barkava Holdings – Latvia-based company, which has successful partnerships in energy, forestry, construction, transport, and real estate fields. AS Barkava Holdings has extensive experience in the development and implementation of 18 renewable energy projects (biomass, biogas, wind and solar).
Investment plan:
- Phase I: 30.000.000 € in the years 2019-2022
- 4 energy projects 5,7 MW with fixed contracts 9-14 years
- Phase II: plan for the years 2022-2024 is under development
- number of projects will depend on the new renewable energy strategy in Croatia/region
